The Panzani Group is the market leader in its field, marketing more than 1,000 GTIN products, mainly in the supermarket and food service networks. With the entry into force of the INCO regulation, the company wanted to set up a product data repository to ensure the compliance of consumer information.
Panzani chose Keendoo's integrated PLM-MDM solution because it was adapted to its operating mode. Since then, with the development of drives, the appearance of scores and consumer applications, the amount of data to be kept up to date is constantly increasing: scores, origin, sorting instructions, environmental display... All this data, from raw materials to finished products, is aggregated in a single system.
A collaborative product data repository to make product data more reliable
Virtually all departments are involved: some 100 users work together through structured processes to ensure the completeness and conformity of product data. The main users are the marketing, R&D and quality teams, but also management control, the sales department and the industrial departments (planning, forecasting, etc.). Panzani also involves its co-contractors: they feed and update the data in the application. All the data integrated in the Keendoo MDM product repository is made reliable by validation processes.

Keendoo PLM optimizes the innovation process at Panzani
The implementation of Keendoo PLM has allowed to accelerate product development: innovation, renovation, regulatory update. On the one hand, R&D and quality teams save time with the Formulation module with the simulation and automatic calculation of recipe labeling information. On the other hand, the Project Management module secures processes and involves teams at the right time, from the initial brief to the creation of products in the ERP.

Automated distribution of data and updated product sheets
Panzani uses the REST API of the Keendoo application to distribute product data to third party applications. It allows to react very quickly to transmit a new data. Whether it is to respect the GS1 standard or a particular need of a distributor. Every day, the Master Data Management service pilots the flows and distributes the data to the GDSN electronic catalogs and consumer applications.
