Between the launch of a product on the market and its withdrawal from sale, its life cycle is punctuated by numerous modifications. How to memorise the successive versions, compare them with each other, avoid errors and save time?
Defining and formalising the brief for a new product, formulating the recipe, referencing the raw materials, validating the tests, creating the packaging and ambient photos, integrating the labelling information, validating the proof, making the product sheet and packshots available to the trade... So many stages in the development of a product, so many product data to master! And to be updated each time the product is modified: change of raw materials, change of recipe, new regulatory requirements, redesign of the charter, new design... And it is often the updates that cause the most problems. We often underestimate the importance of keeping the history and the different versions of all these modifications in order to make the data more reliable and to speed up product development by drawing on past experience.
