HOW TO ENSURE TIMELY LAUNCHES?

Christmas in April

Agathe has just landed her first permanent job as Assistant Product Manager at Soprodal. Admittedly, it's not Procter, but it's still in the consumer goods industry and there's a lot of freedom of action. She wants to take on the challenge and show her efficiency. Diane Montagny entrusted her with her first project: to produce a Christmas promo. It's easy!

Project management or priority management?

However, with induction seminars, meetings at the agency, reading studies, panels, factory visits, time flies. She has done the rounds of goodies, bonuses, BRIs and competitions, nothing very distinctive. Enough to give her insomnia. And it was one night that the idea came to her: "But yes! Christmas = Light = Candle. A beautiful Christmas candle with each set of 3.

Solo or collaborative work?

Wishing to control everything, she works alone and directly with each department and potential external suppliers. The technical solutions envisaged to make the candle fit with the batch of 3 are tested one after the other, and abandoned: impossible to industrialise the packaging...

When a solution is finally found with the help of a CAT, the end-of-year production schedules are already full and the promo schedule has become unrealistic. But Agathe still believes.

Finally, deliveries will be made in the last week of December and early January.

MSG penalties: reinforced!

And there are still products on the shelves at Easter.
